It sure is salty

The granules are larger than Kosher salt so when I sprinkled it on a salad, I got these intermittent explosions of salt - very nice. I don't use it in cooked dishes [common salt will do], just a sprinkle on whatever needs to have fresh salt. I approve of the extra minerals also. Amazon's price is far cheaper than what Food Network entertainers are asking on their websites.

I bought this salt on a lark because I didn't want to drive 40 miles to the nearest store that carried natural sea salt but I will buy it again. The flavor is wonderful. I'm not a big salt eater, never have been, just don't like the taste of commercial salt but this sea salt is wonderful. I real winner that enhances the flavor of food instead of covering it up as regular salt does.

I love this salt

I had purchased this salt previously from another site, and I was very happy to find it here. I have used the salt stones for a relaxing salt bath, the coarse salt for a salt grinder, and the fine salt in my shakers. I love the taste of this salt, and I am happy to be using a natural salt as opposed to the chemically produced ones in our supermarkets.

I love this stuff. It has a delicate range of flavors--if one can speak of salt as having a range of flavors--that totally outclasses any other salt I have had. The rough and big crystals of other Himalayan products are just not as flavorful as the finely ground stuff.I am not a gourmet type person but this stuff is just the best salt I have ever tasted with food.

A few years ago I'd have laughed at you if you'd told me you can taste a difference in salt. Since then I've learned that a salt's taste varies greatly depending on where and how it's mined. This salt is just the best. I've always preferred the texture of kosher salt and the taste of sea salt. This is the only brand I've found that lets me enjoy both at the same time.
